Saturday 18th October 2025 – Kendal Town Hall Assembly Room, 7pm
Chris Samuel has performed in Kendal many times with The Spooky Men’s Chorale and Fistful of Spookies. He now returns leading his choir The Magnificent AKs from Ashton Keynes – an all-bloke, Georgian harmony-inspired, multi-hatted, singing machine from North Wiltshire who are visiting Kendal on their northern tour.
They are joining forces with the ever-entertaining Fellside Singers, a well known local group led by Rachael Wadey, for a fabulous evening of acapella song.
They will entertain you with a wonderful variety of songs: some to pull on your heart strings, others that’ll warm your soul and yet others just for their hilarity!
An evening not to be missed! Tickets available here, if we are sold out join a waiting list managed by Snappy Tickets here too.
**NEW Drop In Singing Sessions in Grange-over-Sands from Thursday 25th September 2025**
- We teach everything by ear, we won’t give you words or music to read.
- They’ll be a light hearted mixture of songs sung in harmony without a piano or guitar accompaniment.
- Open to all – whether you have lots of singing experience or none!
- Just like our regular Kendal groups on Monday evenings and Tuesday mornings, these are drop in sessions – by which we mean there’s no commitment to attend every week and they are on a ‘pay as you go’ type arrangement of £8 a session (or pay what you can).
- We are hosting these sessions in the glorious Victoria Hall, right in the centre of Grange. If you don’t know this venue, we can’t recommend it more highly, do check out all the wonderful things going on there, it really is a gem.
